Uhortistroget.no is a blog about Oslo, Norway. This site does not require registration and does not collect personal data beyond what is described below.
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent directly to us via Web3Forms. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not stored in any database, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to see which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. It is anonymous:
To tell repeat visits apart, GoatCounter briefly holds a random identifier in server memory for up to 8 hours. It is never written to a database. GoatCounter is operated by Martin Tournoij (Ireland), hosted on servers in Finland and Germany, and does not share data with third parties. See the GoatCounter privacy policy and its GDPR statement.
Because no personal data is stored and nothing is placed on your device, we do not show a cookie banner. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If you would rather not be counted, a content blocker will stop the analytics script from loading.
This site does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so it can be applied on your next visit. It never leaves your device.
Some articles may embed third-party content such as YouTube videos (in privacy-enhanced mode). Those providers may set their own cookies once you play or interact with the embedded content, and their own privacy policies apply.
